DEREK TULOWITZKY
Derek Tulowitzky is a senior history major focusing on the social history of baseball and Lyndon
Baines Johnson history.
He has produced multimedia exhibits for the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library as well as researching/producing a documentary on the life of Revolutionary War General George Rogers Clark.
Tulowitzky has also done research for an archaeological video game designed for fourth graders in Indiana. Although not a journalism student, he will be writing on the history of spring training as well as Muncie’s historical ties to the Pittsburgh Pirates spring training efforts.
Tulowtizky is involved in this experience to advance his baseball knowledge, a field in
which he hopes to work. He hopes to knock this project out of the park.
