BRITNY BURTON
Britny Burton is a senior studying journalism, telecommunications, and anthropology at Ball State
University. As an Indiana native with a family background in agriculture, she has a passion for
ecology and learning about different cultures.
Burton produced news coverage for the Indiana State Fair and conducted research on the relationship between religion and agriculture that was published by the American Anthropological Association. Burton also has experience in international programs as she was contracted to produce a short film for Libyan national television to show how Ball State University came to the aid of Libyan students during the 2011 revolts.
After graduation Burton plans to continue her duties with the Indiana National Guard while
pursuing a job that utilizes her anthropology and journalism skills. Her dream job would be to
work for National Geographic and travel around studying different cultures.
